In between directing, choreographing and teaching for Starlight, "Miss Erin" is also an actress, dancer and singer who has worked at regional theatres across the country. Miss Erin is also excited to announce that she is now Managing young actors through Starlight Talent, the newest division of Starlight Productions! She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan with her BFA in Theatre Performance and an AA in Theatre from El Camino College. She is recognized as an Actor/Combatant by the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD), and received an Examiner's Award for Excellence in both Unarmed and Quarterstaff Combat. She has spent years studying classical ballet, tap, jazz and Irish dance in both the South Bay and in a University setting. She was the winner of the National Society of Arts and Letters Musical Theatre competition in 2004 and represented the Michigan chapter at the National Festival where she performed for Stephen Flaherty (one of the writers of Ragtime and Seussical). She is also the recipient of an Irene Ryan Nomination (for excellence in performance) for her role in The Actor's Nightmare. Some of her favorite Direction/Choreography credits include: Little Shop of Horrors, Seussical, High School Musical, Cinderella, Smile!, Dreamgirls, The Wild Party, Guys and Dolls, Oklahoma!, Romeo and Juliet, Stones in his Pockets, Bye Bye Birdie, Annie Get Your Gun and many, many more.
